Two teens arrested and murder investigation launched after boy’s body discovered
Two teenagers have been arrested and a murder investigation has been launched after a body was found.
Police were called to Alcorn Green in Fishtoft, Boston in Lincolnshire, at around 10.22am on Saturday, after the discovery was made.
Officers said the body still needs final identification, but officials believe the victim was a boy in secondary school.
Two teens, aged 14 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
They remain in police custody.
Detective Superintendent Martyn Parker said, “This is a devastating incident in which a young boy has lost his life. The impact will no doubt be felt greatly in the community and beyond.
“This type of incident is not what we would expect to see within our communities.
“We are working with those affected to keep them informed and offer our support.
“I want to reassure the public that we will do all in our power to meticulously investigate the circumstances of this young boy’s death and we would urge anyone who has any information that could support this investigation to get in touch.”
